For those with Veilside V1 CF lips, is there a indention for a rectangular badge in the center? If so, did it come with the lip or is it additonal? I thought most of the CF lips have the Veilside name across the center of the lip?

 

i got mine from intense motorsports which was shipped directly from veilside and it has the indention and came with the rectangular badge to be placed in the center. comes with certificate of authenticity. so its authentic. i have the carbon fiber version as well. hope this helps.

I bought a veilside V1 frp lip from intense motorsports and it has the rectangular indentation and came with the Veilside badge. The badge has 3m-type tape so you just peel off the red strip and press it in there.

 

It come with a certificate of authenticity, instructions or double side tape for installation?

 

Some of the older VeilSide lips did NOT have the metal emblem.
This is a (somewhat) new thing that we have done to most of the parts we sell...

 

Got mine last month in CF. It comes with badge and adhesive tape, the authenticity stamp on the back side of the lip, and the rectangle indentation for the badge in the middle of the lip. This is such an awesome lip, I like the shape it gives the Z in the front. IMO the best I've ever seen for the Z. GREAT CHOICE!

 

I believe only the 06 model lip comes with the badge, the others dont. i THINK..

 

No certificate, but VeilSide was printed on the inside of the lip. No double-sided tape, I bought some 3M stuff. I wish it had some installation instructions, because I cracked one of the corners trying to wrap it around the corner of the bumper. Oh well lesson learned, little krazy glue and it seems to be holding up.

03-05 have the raised "veilside" word on the middle.

the 06+ and the 03-05 both have the rectangle emblem.

It is just a matter of when they were made.
OLD lips had the raides letters.

We have everything right now!

We don't really have a certificate of authenticity technically. We do have the waranty card though, and basic instructions for fiberglass parts.

Double side tape ONLY comes with the Urethane lips.
The CF and FRP lips DO NOT have tape.


and one more thing, for those of you that might get these lips, PLEASE install them with the center first. If you try and install it starting on one side, it is NOT going to fit and it will appear to be an inch short.
