Also what do you think of my painting idea, I'm not positive and I am going to keep it all cf for a while but eventually I may think about painting it but leaving the vents cf, does that sound like it would look good?

I really don't like unpainted cf that much unless the car is black or silverstone. I have silverstone and I'd probably paint it all except for the vents. I saw one at NOPI that had the 2 strips left cf and it didn't look bad at all.

I can't load pics due to dial up and patience reasons. But I have silverstone with the VT hood. I love the look. But I'm only going to sport that style for another 8 months or so. Going for custom paint job. But you might want to paint underneath for it is ugly. That's what I had done.

I have a ss zr with vt hood. I don't like two tone look of unpainted hood. The finish on hood was so beautiful I didn't want to paint it but I did. I left the vents alone. It looks very mean.

I'd order some hood shocks, this will keep it from bowing on one end. I had no probs with mine.
