So my wife told me she want to get me a set of '06 LED tails for Christmas. I've been waiting to order the overlays for the reason I don't have the LED tails. Anyhow, now that I might be getting a set here is what I'm thinking of doing. Tell me what you think.

hey just my
, but Bat's overlays fade with time, and even look a little dull in the pics you posted. From personal experience I bought his and also bought some from member AZ350Z, who has a website of the same name. His overlays are a little more expensive but are EXCELLENT quality. They are super shiny and are darker than the 6/10. Smoke is available or you can get the total blackout. I am in no way affiliated with this guy, but just think his look better, and thought I'd pass on some personal r and d in the matter.

Is this what you are refering to: http://www.az350z.com/overlays.php
Like to see more installed pics. I don't want my entire reverse/turn smoked out.

I would pm him to see if he can send you any more installed pics. I forgot you wanted half the reverse smoked or something, I don't know if that is something he can make or not. I just thought I'd show you another option, which I personally like better. I didn't get any good pics of my car with az350z's overlays as I don't have a digital camera (yet) but I can tell you they are a different material than Bat's, a little thicker and I thought a little easier to apply. And again, very glossy - makes your lights look like they were painted.
Sorry I can't be more help

Mine are more of a semigloss finish. Still very nice. Hevent heard many if any issues of my overlays fading in time. I've had mine on for quite a few years with no issues at all. Also, I wax my vinys every once in a while and it really helps keep looking good
. Here's my vinyl on a tC. The finish has been waxed

Man, you sure you want to cover up those bran new led tails?? Ive been thinking about doing mine, but I'm still kinda on the fence. As far as the headlights go, i would go Mr. zipps, little more expensive but worth it.
