Anyone ever have a problem w/ bluebatmobile overlays?
I ordered front amber tints, rear reverse light tints and a tail light tint. The amber and reverse light fit pretty close, but the tail light tint is WAY off?
the curve on the tail light was such a PIA for me. i got one on, looked decent not up to my standards. i tried putting other one on. was almost finished with 2nd and tore the tint. i decided it was to much frustration playing with tint for me. wasn't digging the way they looked in person much anyways.
i got the rear and front bumper lights on easy though.

If you get them, don't make the same mistake I did of putting them on outside in cold weather. I used a hairdryer, but when it's 40 degrees out, the hairdryer is probably heating the air up to about 100 or 110 degrees max, which makes it incredibly difficult to form properly to the curves.
With ideal conditions, look to spend AT LEAST an hour or two to get the tail light overlays on. They are generally a little over-sized so that you can form them with room to spare and trim/tuck the excess. The reverse lights overlays should be a much tighter fit (read: less extra material)

I've ordered overlays from Andy since back in the day when I had my Celica almost 5 years ago. Everything has always been top notch and fit perfect. Maybe some people need more experience applying them???

Yea man. A blow dryer and patience helps a lot. Take your time. Scrape out the air bubbles let it sit and adhere for a couple mins (hit it with the blow dryer a little bit then squeeze out remaining air/water. Once everything is good out to the edges use the blow dryer to soften up the overlay making it more flexible, use your fingers to for the overlay around any overlaping edges. Use the blow dryer to make them stay where they are. Take your time, be patient and mess around with it.
I tried both the headlight and taillight two different times each, could never get it to fit right. It's really a crappy material to work with especially in relation to tint. It's also a total b!tch to remove. I wouldn't recommend the product to anyone.
It takes a lot of patience. It took me about an hour per tail light. Make sure to keep the part your working with wet. Once you get it right, then use the hairdryer like sponsorsthisway said.
Wet it -> heat it -> stretch it -> dry it. just take your time.

I have the tails, the rear blinkers and sidemarker overlays. As everyone has stated the tails are a PITA but the others are easy. Just make sure to have a friend help you. I've had them on for 2 years and I get nothing but compliments and NO PEELING.
