Has anyone painted thier stock intake tube? This question was brought up as a side question in another thread so most people probably did not see it. Anyways, the stock intake tube seems to be the same plastic material found on the engine cover and several other things in the engine bay. If we were to use the same paint found at a local car parts shop do you think that it would hold up well with the engine temps???

seriously, if you want to, do it. people paint there engine covers and do other things for cosmetics.

it's actually a horrible winter project... paint probably won't cure right and it'd flake off later in the season.
and most people painting those types of things makes it look incredibly cheap. just leave it alone
