its pretty easy to do. 3 steps

#1: click on "search"

#2: read the results from the search

#3: apply what you read from your search to removing the ring.

take his advice...but you might want to add an extra step after 1, and before 2. Type in what you want to search in the search box.

I did a search and couldn't find it.....is it not easier to help a fellow car enthusiast and 350Z newbe or is just more fun to type in the "use the search bar"?
I have been active on quite a few different car forum sites and have never noticed so many people so quick to type that phrase. Most people are just looking for a little help.
I am guessing this post will not help my chances of getting some help but maybe someone sees this the way I do.
Shoot, I even said thanks in advance!!!!

Well you know, there are so many variables in the wording you can use to search for something, some time you find it right away, some times you don't.
I think you are misunderstanding me, I am not trying to be a _ _ ck, I just cannot find it. That is all.
What is so hard about helping someone out, that is what these forums are for...right?????
BTW, my car is a AT, there is alot more info on the 6MT.

Thanks man, I have read that post a few times before tonight, what I am wondering is...in the first thread it says, AFTER you remove the clip, you can remove the **** and slide off the silver trim piece...I don't think that ring is just going to slide off, I am sure there are some clips, I just need to know the best way to release them.
ANYWAY...THANK YOU for helping!!!!

I believe you have to remove the whole console first and I think there are clips or screws at the bottom of it to remove it if I remember correctly( I have a G35 auto, but I'm assuming the same for the 350z)

Side note: I find it somewhat strange how some members get easily annoyed and like to type "SEARCH" so much when a noob likes to ask a question. Maybe the search buttom is so easy for you b/c you spend day and night on this sheit and prob memorize everything word for word so you are able to narrow down a search. If you dont want to answer the question just go back to the top left of the page and click the icon that says BACK and save yourself a headache.
