Default Clear Front Markers ??

Whats Up Everyone?

Just Had A Question About Buying And Installing Clear Front Markers On The Front Bumper Of The Z. It Seems The Prices Are Between 30 -50 Dollars Which Is Fine. I Used To Have A 1990 240sx Coupe And Got Clear Markers For It And Spent No More Than 10 Minutes Installing Them. The 350z Doesnt Look Like It Has Simple Screws That Are Easy To Access So I Am Wondering How Hard It Is To Install These. Any Help From Someone Who Has Em Would Be Sweet.

The Markers In The Back Are Clear So Why Didnt They Make The Ones In The Front Clear Also... Orange Looks Strange On The Front.

We have a DIY section on these forums. Check there for several detailed walk-throughs discussing this, including mine.

Don't spend that much. All it is is a piece of clear plastic over a piece of chrome plastic. I've got the Ebay ones. I think they were $20.

03-05 have a certain type, two circular rings for screws.
06 is different, three clips inserted in.
07 Not Sure. Probably like the 06.

I was about to order JDM ones for $55, but saw this thread. So are there clear bumper lights for 2006 350Z for less?

Thanks.

03, 04, 05 are the same reflector part #

06 and 07 have the same reflector part #

For installing on any year, you have two options:
1) You can remove the bumper completely and install them
2) You can either remove the front wheels or turn them to get clearance to the wheel well. Remove the screws that secure the front face of the wheel well, pull it back, and you should have some tight access to the reflectors that way.

Good luck!

I just grabbed a set of clear corners for $10 the other night.... is that ^ true? You can get to the screws by just turning the wheels? I haven't had a chance to check it out in daylight yet.

Where are you guys finding these deals?

I can see a ton for 03-05, but none for 06 models besides from a dealer for $55.

replacing the passenger side reflector in 03-05 models will be impossible if you don't at least loosen the bumper...the Washer fluid bottle will block you from reaching the reflector.

unless you're mr. fantastic.

That's where mine are from and I love the new white look. It's funny, I'm trying to make the inside of the car more orange and the outside more white.

That's cool, that's what I've been thinking too. I'd like to contrast the exterior orange more and then add accents of orange on the inside. Would look sick.
