Default Fuse panel question

When looking at the fuse panel under the driver side kick plate:

All of those extra unused fuse slots.. are those hot? Can I tap into this with a fuse and utilize it?

Also, i have seen where some hard wire kits for misc items come with a mini-fuse with a wire attached to it.. does anyone know where I can get these?

I am about to venture into some projects and would like to keep everything as clean as possible..

only way to know for sure is to get a voltmeter out and start testing. I would assume they are not hot and are probably for the various options that come on the other Z's.

look at the panel door, it has a label schematic on it. there are two that i use! they say ACC. i believe one is the cigaratte lighter and the other i forgot. but they have ACC on them.

which means they turn on when the car is ON or at least on ACC. if you dont know what i mean look at your key hole on the stearing colum.

but ya, a voltmeter would be great.

as for those add an accessory mini fuse adapters your talking about - AutoZone has them. im sure most general autoparts store will have something similar.

let me know if you have any questions.
