I hate it when that happens. I pass trucks all the time just to avoid it.

You can have it repaired if it did not spider. Go to a car dealership they usually have some guys that come around and repair windshields for like $50.

Mine was 3 months old when that happened. As said, if it's not too bad, it can be repaired (mine was about $75) and you won't notice it uless you know what to look for. Insurance will usually waive the deductible as they would rather take care of it than need to replace the entire windshield. Insurance(and you too)should require it to be professionally inspected to verify it's repairable and done correctly to insure the integrity of the windshield and your safety in the case of an accident. I wouldn't use the cheap do-it-yourself syringes on a car like the Z because of the stresses that are more likely to be put on it.

i feel your pain.

i just had to have my windshield replaced due to the same thing. pebble cracked the windsheild. good news is, insurance covered the whole thing. but now i cant wash my car for a few days until the adhesive sets.

You live in Oregon brother, expect this on the regular. Stupid tire chain laws tear up the road all winter and where do you think all the resulting gravel goes? Into your bumper and windshield.

I am on my third windshield in one year of ownership

Dont tailgate!
