Default question for my350zers: should i put a nismo kit on or not on my ride

well, i gave up the first nismo kit i had to another my350zer, and would like to know from you guys if i should put the nismo bodykit on my car or not.

this is the only bodykit i like for my car if i do a bodykit.

your decision will help if i get one or not.

let me know,
john

Default Hey John, same boat!!

I am going to wati for the official launch of Nismo to see what's going on! And yes, the Nismo kit is still my first choice!

See you Saturday in San Mateo??

Yes, I just got the nismo kit installed on my Z and it looks AWESOME. It gives it a nice subtle, aggressive appearnce that dosent detract from the overall design. My rear end looks really nice for drivers pulling up. I had a couple people on the freeway that parrelled my car when they saw the kit on. As soon as I can get somebody to host my pics I will post it.

NO!!!

You should keep your car the way it is so I'll be the only one in Sacto with the NISMO kit...for now.

You know what I think

I need to check with Paul but mine (yours) should be installed by now. I dropped the car off at the body shop last week and the magazine build is set for the 11th / 12th (it got pushed back a bit). My understanding from Paul is that the US Nismo kit will not replace the entire nose. Apparently it will only add a urethane lip to the bottom of the existing nose on your car - so no crossbar in the grill for the US if that's true. The rest of the kit? I dont really know.

Cant wait to see it when I head back up to NH next week...

You like the kit right? Obviously by your sig you dont mind putting a little money into your car. So unless you're waiting to see if a better kit comes out, then go for it.

John...

i think you just just fork over the dough to a good shop to make that GTC body kit you like so much.
might as well, since you want it so bad.

I'm waiting for a better looking kit. The kits that are out are OK. But could be better for my tastes. Especially when it comes to justifying prying open my wallet and spending my dough. Keep in mind it is still early in the game to saddle your Z with a OK body kit. In a year from now, you could regreat your haste.

In my opinion, I wouldn't put a nismo kit on yet... The reason being is the car is still new... Plenty of kits will be released in the future.

There might be a nismo kit # 2 that will be released...

I'd say negative. Your car looks hot enough as is.
