im planning on takin my headlights apart to black them out. but i also want to replace the bulbs with LED's. i want the brights and the orange running lights to be hyper white. and ill replace the blinker bulbs. but i had previous problems with buying LED's. i purchased them through V-LEDs.com for my taillights. well believe it or not it screwed up the computer in my car and only allowed my throttle botty to open up 50% when my lights were on. wierd, huh? well anyways i had to put the stock bulbs back in. so it was a waste of time and money because it took NISSAN all day to diagnose that problem. anyways...any help on the exact bulbs i need and where i can get them? preferrably someone who has them theirselves? thanks so much
lol okidoke slow down killer.
Ok, first things first. go to http://www.sy lvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/ (remove space in address)
input nissan, and the year, then the car, and it will give you an itemized list of everysingle bulb in your car.
now, make a note of these number, and go to www.su perbrightleds.com (remove space in the address)
find the bulbs. blinker bulbs will hyper flash in the z when they are replaced. you need the resistors if you want to keep things flashing at the same rate. i left mine hyperflashing cuz it looks pretty tight.
the blinkers are not as bright as the original bulbs, but they are still easily seen.
as for your taillights, do yourself a favor and order these

haha yea those look tight. do they sell an all clear light? (no red)
i was thinking it would look sweet if i smoked a pair of clear taillights. because when i had my OEMs black...they would still look a little red with the sun hit them

People have had ongoing issues with the quality of LEDs out there. Just be warned beforehand that they may not last a long time. You're better off just getting regular bulbs unless you like pulling your headlights often.
Do NOT use superbright leds. The quality of their led bulbs is blunty, pure crap. I've gone through a few sets of them on my past 2 vehicles. The thing I learned in the end, its better to either make your own led setup, or just leave it stock.

I replaced my SuperBrightLEDs after they started failing after about 20 hours of use. The ones in the rear license plate, the festoons in the ceiling dome light, and one of my blinkers failed completely. A second front blinker had several of the LEDs in the cluster fail. I've bought some out of Hong Kong from e-bay only cheap and so far, so good.
You'll want to check AZ motor vechical code to see if white blinkers are legal. It's too easy to pull you over otherwise. White blinkers are legal here in CA but I still went with orange ones as to not to confuse the idiots on the road in front of me. They don't show orange at all except when blinking.
