hey...i want to remove my headliner to I can paint it black with fabric paint....i was just wondering tho...is it safe to remove it if i have the side apron air bags in there?

Just undo the battery if you're worried. You shouldn't have any problems. As a matter of fact I think I've done about a hundred bags and never took the battery cable off.

 

should remove the airbag fuse too. just incase.

If the battery is off then you should be A ok. My suggestion is though that you go to your local fabric store and buy some suede or fake suede along with some fabric glue and do that. It will look much better/more classy in the end and I doubt will cost too much money.
