Default headlights

wow ive been looking around this forum and some people have different colored headlights...some were diy and some by a co. called mr. zipps.

i am really interested in doing this, same color or black, but i figure it would void my warranty for that part.

so my question is, is there even a warranty for the headlights...i cant think of anything that would require warranty work...

Nothing voids the warranty for anything unless the dealer can prove that the mod is what caused the problem. The only thing that I would think could go wrong with headlights is the ballast and that on the back of the housing.

even if they can't prove that your mods caused something to go wrong, they will still give you crap and probably not cover it. If its a big charge then you coudl bring in the lawyers, but I have heard they tend to laugh at this sort of situation.

Nissan warranty sucks anyway, when I took mine in I was not treated well and I doubt my car was either. It took a major accident (caused by them) for me to get treated well. The service manager is a good friend of mine now

me? no, that wasn't me... lol those three elements combined with accident does sound pretty bad though. My 1st bad experience was with a pulley problem, and the second was when they forgot to install the brakes, yeah, you read right. They forgot to complete the job and I got home and couldn't stop, then had to wait 10 days for the parts to come in because they lost the original ones when I had the car in for the fuel line recall. After that pleasant phone call they have treated me like royalty ever since lol.
