When I decrease my speed to the 5-20 mph range when coming to a stop, i hear a vibration sound right around where my windshield meets the dash. I thought it was my breaks, so I took my car in today and they put on new brake pads. Well, this must not have been the problem as the car is still making a wonderful sound. Anybody have any idea why or what is making this sound?

 

mine did this when I first bought it. I used foam insulation with an adhesive backing. I cut it to the size I wanted, about 1/2" thick, folded it in half against the sides with the adhesive backing so it was thicker but not sticky and put it in between the dash and windshield. It is not visible and the vibration is gone.
