Yeah, I want to make this happen no matter what. I will be producing 50 bar sets in order to offset some of my costs. Once they are made, it will just be a matter of powdercoating them and shipping.

Once the final numbers are announced and the preorder is started, it will be approx 7 weeks to have them all made here locally. It will be a top quality product made in the USA. No cheap overseas stuff or anything. I still want to try and offer everyone any color they want, but only time will tell on that. May have to do an add'l charge for custom colors.

My overall goal with the bar was to offer something that a lot of people wanted as well as something custom for the Z. With the possible ability to get an array of colors, you're not stuck with something tons of other people have. Obviously I can offer it with zero coating for those who want to have it done somewhere else. This item should be good whether you want to use harnesses or not. I don't use harnesses and will still have one in my car. It should add some rigidity to the B-pillar.

 

Being kinda tall can you answer this question? When the bar is installed can you still recline the seat all the way back to the speakers?

Been following this thread and might buy a bar after the pre-orders are spoken for.

 

The bar in no way will interfere with the seat.

 

i might just buy one to hang it in my room. =p

 

what would the base color be? and what other color options would be available?? would you make certain colors available at the same price, and anything outside that spectrum would be additional, and a quick suggestion maybe add somewhere to easily mount a camera, or other devices, sorry if this has been brought up, joined in kinda late.
