Update: I am working very hard on getting this done asap, but since this requires a bit of design element as well as safety, it is taking longer than I'm sure most people would like. My preliminary price on it is ~$300. This is a rough guess based on the costs going into it so far. For anyone who put their name on the list, please let me know whether you would be a serious buyer if the price was in this range.

Thanks!

I would have to see exactly what was being produced for that amount. I.E. why is it better than the $189 eBay one.

I'll have to see the final design first. Is ~$300 your shipped price?

I'm not trying to compete with Ebay items. If cheap is what you want, then Ebay is what you should buy.

I'm not even approaching shipping yet. This estimate is for the bar setup only so far.

It is better b/c it is from Matt...AKA THE TECH...nukkahhhhhh! What kind of customer service do you think you are going to have from ebay?

You get what you pay for, don't forget it.

The main issue on the price comes down to a safety and structural issue in concerns to the cost to produce.

Paint is last on the list for pricing since I will need a finished product in order to get the price on paint. The color shouldn't matter price wise, but don't quote me on that til the final numbers come in.

if $300 is for a painted piece, count me in. shouldn't be that much to ship these anyways, no?

We shall see. I know that even though the bar doesn't weigh that much, that it will be large due to the size of the piece.

Hey, why don't you design it to be expandable to lower shipping cost. You know, just like a car clothes bar below:

300 doesn't sound like a bad price, as I stated before I would rather buy from a Z member then some other vendor. Just waiting for pics, but take your time and do it right the first time
