I am interested in this. The struts are definitely required to properly dump forward harness loads into the car, otherwise the harness bar cross tube has to be too big (read: TOO HEAVY), to react the load into the existing seat belt bolts. Dark metallic finish or black is fine. Good luck on this project and I hope it comes to fruition at a good price.
cheers,

How did I miss this party!?!

You all would be better served with a larger diameter bar that runs straight across from the seatbelt anchors. When the bar is offset to allow for seat reclining, if you're in a rearward impact, and the seat back fails, your head and neck are vulnerable to impact the harness bar, causing severe injury or death.

Better to lose the ability to recline the seat and have the bar stop the seat back across the shoulders.

(Of course, this is assuming you all are comfortable with using harnesses in a car without roll-over protection other than the roof)

I was thinking about that, if you flip and somehow the roof buckles...you are so strapped in that you are not going to be able to lean over. Anywho, i hope i don't flip.

Just got off the phone. Things are rolling (albeit not as quickly as I had initially hoped). I hope to have some close to firm prices available this week. I can't say when I can promise pics that I know everyone wants. I appreciate everyone being patient. I'm doing all that I can to get this done and get it done at a reasonable price.

Thanks!!
