Default Thinkin of buying a body kit, could you help me out?

I'm thinking of purchasing a body kit for my Z. I know it all boils down to preferance, and I know i'm going to get many suggested brands from you guys, but i would like to know out of all of the ones out there which brands install the best and which ones are the most durable. I'm not looking for something that you might see on some type of Nopi Car show, i'm looking for a practicle one maybe like the Invader 3 WB kit, the Vizage Type N body kit, or the Kazuya Bai Origin Urban, just something with style, that is'nt too over the top. Over the top for me is like with the little fins out on the front and rear bumpers. So Basically i want to know the best brands that are most reliable, most popular, most style, and Easy Instalation.. Oh Yea most important thing is the price, my budget is about 1800 dollars. Thanks!

I like INGS too. But I have the Vizage type A now. I still love it. Wouldn't mind going to a INGS front clip. I hope your budget is body kit only. As for the above pics don't go with the Veilside. I can't stand it. The other two are nice.

OK, sounds like you want a kit that is good looking as well as functional? Despite what others may say, some body kits are functional at speed. How do I know? Well, some companies actually use the kits for a racing series like Super Taikyu (which can be considered a Japanese stock class racing series not unlike Nascar, but they are not on ovals).

C-West and Ings+1 are these companies.

You can also look what Japanese tuner shops use as their body kits of choice. Yashio Factory uses Vertex (Car Make T&E). HKS uses Varis. Again, these shops actually track their cars, which says something about the functionality of the kits that they use.

Then you have comanies like Top Secret, that actually manufacture their own body parts for their cars.

Check with Intense Power of Arizona for some great prices and to see just what's out there:
http://www.intensepower.com/aeex.html

Again, all those companies I listed, you cannot go wrong with.

Another thing to consider with your budget is paint. Is $1800 limited to just the cost of the kit, or is that including paint? If that includes paint, then your choices are going to be severly compromised, probably limiting your choices to lip kits.

He answered that ? on post number 4. His budget is for just the kit only. Sometimes you have to read ALL the post to see what's going on. Just telling you from personal experience.

i haven't hear anyone talk about Wings West but I had one on my Civic and i thought it was a great kit. I had no problems and it fight great. the only thing you might not like is that it's not a full front bumper... just giving you an option, can't hurt.

You said you wanted something practical yet you have the Veilside wide body listed as one of your choices. Not very practical if you ask me. On top of the kit you'll also have to consider getting custom wheels.

I like the Vizage type N, out of the ones you've listed.

+1, prep and paint for body kits will jack the price up a ton.

OK, for 200 more clams, you can get the Chargespeed. You may be charged for shipping though.
Intense Power Pic Link

Seriously, no one on My350z.com has the kit yet... and if you like praise and attention, get this kit.

If that's too much, just get the Vertex Lip kit. With shipping, it should fit your budget.

If you're set on the Ings+1 LX Lip kit, that's should be overbudget with shipping.

For practicality and guaranteed fitment... consider the USDM Nismo kit... about $1000 clams. But you are bound to look like alot of others here.

If you're still not sure, go back to the #10 post.
