Default Modded 2006 HID

So I got my headlights back, I must say I am impressed. I sent these out cause I wanted a sharper, more colorful cutoff. After plenty of research (hidplanet), I proceded. These are stock bulbs, ballasts etc. Anything bulb over 4300k isn't going to be brighter, although it may look it, due to the blue color. By changing the projector lens to a more clearer lens, then spacing the lens, this will provide you with a brighter, sharper, more colorful beam. Here are the results. I might need more alignment, the 2 headlights where aligned different vertically, and I'm not quite sure how high they're supposed to be.
I'm bad at taking pictures at night, its hard to actually capture the color.

stock lens, notice the ridges, this needs to go.

picture of the slope

notice from upclose, the light is still white, not blue. the further away you are from the car, the bluer it gets

about as worthless as a body kit...
Its an appearance mod, and a much better option than using high K bulbs like most people here do.

I don't know anyone personally who has an 06+, but if you live in the 951/909 I'd be glad to do a comparison test, I'd like to see also. Hit me up. We can both post our opinions
Edit: then you can buy me food j/k

Looks nice!!!

Couldn't you also just purchase the e-code headlights? Don't they have the sharp cutoff? Anyone have friends in Germany?
