Default Headlight Condensation?

I tried searching because i thought this might have been a big issue but i couldnt find anything.

Both of my headlights get bad condensation in them. I replaced one of them with a used one from a junk yard and it has the same issue. Is there anything i can do to stop it? Drill a hole in them? remove the plastic cover and dry them out?

Also, is there a place or way i can paint the inside of them black?

Their is a Nissan recall on the headlights. You should have just brought it to the dealership and had it covered under warranty, assuming it'sstill under warranty.

Don't worry about searching on this site as its easier to repost and wait for the know-it-alls to post the link to some obscure thread with an unsearchable title.

Make sure that it isn't oxidation on the outside of the headlight. I used the
finest steel wool I could find and some Nu Finish Polish and they look pretty good.

I had mine replaced by the dealer under the factory warranty. But @ 60,000mi your not covered under the facotry warranty. I was wrong to say it was a recall. The technical term is a TSB (technical service bulletin).

mines a 2004, made 01/04 production date with 21k miles.

I have an appointment at the dealer to have it service on Monday. Do you think they will fix these problems?

some known issues:

-passenger window motor doesnt work properly, sometimes doesnt work at all
-Trunk shocks dont hold up, i found out the hard way
-Headlight condensation
-Right headlight shorted out
-Transmission grinds in 5th gear
-front left wheel shaking....its the hub/berring

Also, any ideas on how long it takes for them to repair things like this? I cant imagine being without my z for long...and i need it to get to work.

ur helps appreciated

Warranty begins date of purchase. The car is covered bumper to bumper for 3yrs/36,000mi whichever occurs first. Then after that you are covered for 5 years 50,000mi on powertrain (engine/trans).
