Default Crappy A/C

I have like 4k miles on my 06 Z and I just barely tried turning on the A/C ( getting hot in so cal!) . The A/C doesnt blow very cold air even at max setting. My old 98 corolla and my current 04 pre runner blows cold air to the point I would feel cold. Anyone else have this problem?

something's wrong with your A/C dude....just take it in for warranty work.
Never had any problem with my 03 A/C, freezing cold even at idle.

With 4,000 miles, I suspect that the air conditioning is OK. But for a definitive answer, have a shop measure the outlet temperature.

You have a problem with the AC. The system works great for me.

It was 100 degrees outside Tucson today. Drove from work, 45 miles, back to the big city, of course using my AC. Kept the car very comfortable. Has been in and out of the 90's over the last month and the AC has never let me down. Great system of automatic control. Comfort level is like sitting in my living room.

Why do owners with new cars, fully warranteed, whine on message boards instead of taking the car to the dealership?

BTW, my '06 (13K miles) will freeze you out on a hot Carolina day in July.

05 Enthusiast with air on in the auto mode the car gets damn cold in just a few minutes, but there is a funky smell that I have noticed over the past 2 summers. Dealership finds no odors in the car...............guess all I can do is use air freshner in the Z
