Yeah I'm thinknig the same way. I want one but I don't want to lose the nice roof look. When I had a car that had a sunroof it was always fun sticking my hand out messing with that plastic thing.

Why'd y'all have to go diggin up old threads? One more item added to the "to do" list. It just doesn't feel right to live in FL with no sunroof...

Default webasto was a good brand?! who would have known...

holy crap. i just bought a 2005 350z touring last week and just found out from this forum tonight that i indeed have the webasto sunroof??

when i was first looking to buy the car, i just pressed the buttons around and thought it was just a moonroof this whole time and thought nothing of it. can anyone tell me if you have to hold on to a button to actually have the sunroof slide back? i hope it aint broken.....i only pressed a button and the roof just opened upwards and thought to myself hmmm it must only go upwards...i guess i will have to play with the button more....

Default Wow!

I've been wishing I had a sunroof in my Z since I got it. I was worried about having someone cut into the roof of my pride and joy. But you guys have sold me on it. I'm in San Diego - does anyone know of a reputable dealer down here? The Classic Soft Trim closed down and the calls are being answered by American Sunroof now. Does anyone know anything about these guys?- can I trust them?

Thanks

I am on the phone with Classic Soft Trim in Brandon FL right now. They just quoted me a price, 949+ Tax with a 3yr/36000 warranty.

http://snipurl.com/29ygq [maps_google_com]
Click on the link put in your address and it will give you directions to their place.
their phone number is 813-626-7113.

They say they need the car for 1 day. Drop off the car around 8:30 and they will take care of it and should have the car back to you by the end of the day based on scheduling.

I will be getting this done ASAP!

I know that is a big price diff. But the place that I call is the same place that IceBurnzTT recommended. I am going to sell my Mickey thompson slicks and rims and get this. I cant drag my car anymore because of my new body kit so these are just taking up space. I will use that money to pay for it.

Default sunroof

im actually gettin this done sometime next week when the parts are in.

Sunroofs etc in Phoenix ( who installed my leatherseats.com seats--thanks again Eric) quoted me 749 plus tax and has done them before.

I also plan to get the roof done in gloss black vinyl so it will hide the look of it... but I will try to get some pics on here as soon as it gets in and gets installed.

I had the car scheduled to get a full flat black wrap, but Ive fallen in love w the sunroof on our new GS 300.... and I think its just time to get some sun in my Z instead of murderin it out.

My only concern is the fact that Im already sooooo close to the roof in my car. Im a pretty bug dude.
ANy issues w this in your cars w sunroofs installed?

Ive thought about getting a sunroof installed forever in my Z, just never got around to giving it a go! I have seen one or two Zs with em, they were really small looking, not sure it would be enough open space to really be worth 700-900 bucks imo. I still think a custom targa roof would be totally bad *** looking! They shouldve made that an option on the new 370s, I would be all over upgrading to it then!
