Default Air Duct without Cutting into your bumper (Pics)

This might be old, if so, I'm sorry, I'm a noob. I used the search and kept hitting the other air duct. I wanted to know if anyone is currently running this airduct. Looks like it would solve a lot of the heat soak issues with pop charger. It may only induct a small amount of cold air into/onto the filter, but I'm mainly concerned about reducing the heatsoak.

does anyone have any before and after temp readings or performace proof?

Is it just 2 bolts for install? Do you have to remove bumper? Is it at all flimsy once installed or does it stay sturdy and in one place?

Any pics with it installed with the bumper on?

so it looks like it's a duct that extend to the grill? Can't quite tell from that picture. How much does it go for?

Someone did the installed without removeing th bumper on this forum. He said all you need is remove the bottom left plastic part and slip from bottom up. Use original 2 factory screw only.

Probably at higher speeds. But at low speeds it'd be minimal. I'm sure it'd work a lot better on a vented hood. Nice piece to have regardless...

I think the stock configuration works fine. All that air hitting the front opening must also go up into the duct as well.

^ It's proabbly about as effective as the Varis duct. The Nismo V2 bumper also has one like this built into it. Prob won't get you any real gains, but it can't hurt and will get the coolest, freshest air into the engine.

I have the K&N intake and it comes with a pipe that runs down that same spot with a wide mouth opening on the end. Can't say it really does much, I hooked up a shop vac on reverse at the bottom and the air flow was decent but you would have to be going at a pretty high speed to get the same effect.
