Default Anyone have experience with replacing shocks in vertical door kit?

I need to replace my shocks but don't see an easy way to do it without removing the fender. Has anyone done this before? Problem is, I can not remove the fender because my kit is molded on.

i changed mine once....u need to remove the fender. there is no other way cuz of the postions of the bolts that hold the shock(especially on the top)...when i first received my kit they gave me shocks that were too strong so the door would not stay down....so then i replaced them with less strong ones...y do u need to change them??

The car was in the body shop for 5 months and plus interior shop. When I got it back, the passenger side would barely stay up. After a couple shows, it won't stay up at all now. Both shops said the door went up and down many many many times to complete their work.

The kit I am using is Decah. I bought it used and the seller admitted to me one side was used a ton more than the other so I may need to get new shock soon. After the body shop and then interior shop raised it up and down ridiculously, it is done. When I picked it up from the last shop, I went to bring the door down and it had a hideous squeal to it. Unusual to me. Then, it seemed much easier to bring down. Almost too easy. After a couple more up and downs, it won't stay up. I am not sure if that loud squealing was a sign or what. This is my first set. (used price was $400 so it was worth it to me to get new shocks in the near future ) I bought 2 new ones and plan to replace them both at the same time because I never use this option unless I show and I have then both up for that. Not sure why this seller used one more than other because there is plenty of room to get in and out of t he car without using this feature.
My husband called a company that sells and installs Decah kits today and they told him it is a matter of an allen wrench to get them out. Said it is a 20min. job for each side. We just installed the turbo this weekend and I noticed, with the front wheels off, if i move the black panel, I can get to them super easy. So, I am hoping I can do this from that angle as they instructed and it works out ok.
Wish I could remove the fender. Would be much easier! Fingers are crossed it goes ok.
Assuming these symptoms are the shock right? No other reason it decided not to stay up after a few more lifts? Again, this is my first set so I was hoping I could get some insight on these things.
