Default Bike Racks

Ok, so I've spent the last hour going through old posts about bike racks and didn't really find what I was looking for. I am not interested in the rack that hooks under the bumper or something. I feel like I saw a rack that hooked onto the rear hatch and the bikes were lined up front to rear on the car on the rear window (with the front tires off) versus the racks where the bikes hang off the back (perpendicular to the rear bumper). Any help would be appreciated as I would like to find a rack soon so I can ride my bike someplace further than my neighborhood.

ps: at some point there was a post of a Ferrari F40 with a similar rack on this site (crazy I know to some of you, but humor me).

thanks

I saw a 911 Carrera 4 with a pair of Road bikes on a rack the other day...if a Porsche can have one, so can a 350.

I just did a quick check and neither Yakima or Thule make one...

I've worked in a bike shop the past 3 years.(I just quit) and there is no way you're getting a bike rack on a Z. Nobody makes one.

They do make a rack for the Z, Maybe that's why you don't work at the bike shop anymore. J/K

Anyway check out Delta Hunch racks.

I believe if you go to the South East section on the boards and type in "bike rack" search this forun you will see a post about the distance from asheville to the tail of the dragon NC.
You will see a brick yard Z with a bike on the hatch, scroll down and you will see the same rack holding track tires!

Cheers

Kevin

If you have a Z you shouldn't need a bike to get around. J/k

I thought I saw a trailer hitch style one on here somewhere. Maybe try that out, but you would have to put a trailer hitch on the Z.
