Default HID Bulb question, Need help ASAP

Hey guys, I kinda need a little urgent help. I was switchin out my headlights when I messed up one of the bulbs. I have an HID kit from JUN here on the forums. He hasn't been on in a while or I would've just hit him up. Basically, my question is regarding replacement bulbs, what are my options. The bulb says, "Philips D2R 35W 85126" I'm not too familiar with HID's, is this a common bulb that I could pick up anywhere? Does anyone else have any experience with JUN's kits? Any help would be appreciated, I have my bumper off along with my lights and I'd like to resolve this today. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I just called the dealer and asked them what bulbs come on a stock 350Z and this was the information they gave me. I'm not sure it's the same thing.

$227 bulbs

26297-89911 Xenon bulbs Philips.

Are they rebased bulbs from a kit or OEM bulbs? How about a picture? OEM bulbs don't have any wires coming off of them, while alot of aftermarket bulbs have 2 wires to connect to the ballast

Yeah the D2r bulbs are pretty common and pretty pricey too. You should be able to pick up a replacement bulb ( you should buy 2, so they match my .02) at your local auto parts store. Watch out for the brand that you get. Some are cheap and burn out quick. so it's worth it to spend a little extra and get quality bulbs ( example: PIAA, Philips)

also, the stock bulbs are, I think 4400k. I had 6000k in mine and they looked great and I had no problem seeing at night with them. Stay away from the 8000k, 10,000k, & 12,000k bulbs. You can't see **** at night.

I have a question too, I just swaped out my stock HID light ***'y with a new one I bought on eBay. New one works great, although it starts out blue, and then turns normal white. I think it may be a little brighter than my other stock bulb that looks blue, but id like them both to be blue. What "k" level should I be looking for to replace the new bulb? What are the color ranges?

Piaa makes a bulb that is very blue, but I can't think of the K, maybe 5500K. They are also pretty pricey. Around $330.00.

I had the 6000k from one of the vendors on this site. They were more of an aqua color, almost like the newer Audi's and they were only $125.00

Oliver I have a set of OEM bulbs from my Z since I switched to some aftermarket bulbs. If you need the OEM's let me know or call me. We can work something out on these for you.

Thanks Ed. The Urgency is over. The bulb still works but there's a little tube running down the side of the bulb covering a thin wire, that cracked in half. I'm not sure what purpose it serves but I might need some bulbs down the line. I'll let you know. Thanks. For now, I'm just exploring the idea of different temp bulbs as I want a slightly bluer hue.

No worries bro always willing to help a brother out. I switched to the 8000k bulbs and the lighting is nice almost purple however I don't know how well they work at night with rain yet.
