Hi guys... i just bought a 350z about 4 months ago, i love it to death, and its the best car i've ever driven specially driving to malibu everyday and crusin on pch,
i also just started surfing, and now i realize that i cannot transport a longboard in my car, the surf stores say that a soft rack will work good, but i am very doubtful about that, and i think its unsafe, Does neone know if any companys make hardracks for 350z? designed for surfboards?
I would never do that to my car, if you love your Z, dont do it. Just be a man and surf your way to whereever your going
i appologise for our resident retard
I've seen a few 350's with a ski rack before, and that would lead me to believe that if a ''surf'' aftermarket rack dosent exist, that you'd probably be able to modify a ski/snowboard attachment for your needs.
No links for ya, but I have seen them in person before
I've seen pictures of a guy with a roof rack that he puts his racing tires on so you don't have to stuff all four inside the car. It looked like your basic luggage rack.
Bwaaaaa.... you're in luck, I found the thread.....
I have a 2nd hand Boofsquire in my garage somewhere, just the rack, no attachments (takes Yak or Thule bike and other mounts). I've never used it - just mounted it once.
Not my car but you get the idea. I bought it thinking I might use it to go up into the hills but I came up with a better idea.... RIDE up the dang hill! Laff...
Besides, anytime wife and I take our bikes on a road trip, I throw it on the Highlander rack. The Boof is no longer made but I see them for sale once in a while.
