Default Seasucker bike rack 350z

Sup everyone,
Ive been looking for a bike rack for my z since i bought it 2 years ago. The only custom made bike rack i could find were boofsquire racks but they havent been in stock since last October. Thats when i stumbled across the seasucker rack. Uses suction cups with pumps to mount ur bike anywhere on the roof. I was a bit skeptical at first but being desperate and not wanting to give up my love for cycling i just went ahead and bought it. Ive had it for a week and i am very impressed. Very solid, bike doesnt move around at all. Ive used it a couple times and it works great. Ive taken some pretty hard turns and Ive hit 90mph with no problems. Suction cups work great and dont damage the paint at all.

Anyone looking to get a bike rack on their Z should really check these out. I got the Talon model for $240 at a local bike store in San Diego.

Nice, if my Z was still my daily I would get one. I just took my bike apart and put it in the trunk.

Default I am glad you tested this

Well that is great to hear it works. I saw it at the bike store and they had it attached to the counter, they said pull on it but you may pull our counter over, and they where right. it stuck good. well I will be considering this for sure now.
thanks for the info

you would think this would dent/damage the roof somehow, it doesn't leave any marks??

Looks pretty good, watch those pedals flipping around, might want to bungee them to the downtube if you haven't already

Will a bike fit on just the hatch so you can open while hauling a bike?

I would not attach it to just the hatch. My large frame MTB bike did fit with the front mount on the glass and the rear mount on the rear of the hatch. But it flexed the glass quit a bit so I moved the front mount to the roof and the rear mount to the top of the hatch on the metal.

I have only used it once and it did great. the road that I traveled is made of concrete with a joint every 15ft, so you bounce constantly for 5 miles. I am just careful when turning and hitting dips in the road, it causes the bike to shake from left to right a little bit.
