Im pretty sure you just:
-Disconnect battery
-take screws out of the side of the wheel that hold the airbag in
-unplug airbag/remove airbag
-break loose the big nut holding the wheel on and then remove it
-Disconnect battery
-take screws out of the side of the wheel that hold the airbag in

Specifically, they are "tamper proof 34T torx bolts". Unless you buy the specific bit to un-do these bolts, an ordinary 34T bit will not have the nipple recess in the end. When I took my steering wheel off to recover it in custom leather, I replaced the torx bolts with ordinary hex head M6 bolts to reinstall the steering wheel.

hmmm....i think it is a T30 tamper proof torx bolt
recently installed one myself.
it is included if you purchase the Works Bell short hub.
other tool you need is a 19 mm deep socket (i believe it is 19mm)
