Depends on the initial quality of the kit.

If the kit is crap, and does not fit right.. you are in for a world of pain.

Varis has the best fit for a carbon body kit, shouldnt need prep work. C-west stuff also fits excellent.

my carbon creations didnt need much a little grinding around the headlights and that was about it. the rest fit pretty good, but like what was said earlier it depends on how it fits initially.

Make sure you have a dremel handy for fitment issues/masking tape/ and regular tools.. Thats all you need!!

Yep, listen to Jay.

If you have never used a dremel get it professionally installed. If you bought the cheapest kit you could find, dont expect it to fit.

i have authentic cwest carbon fiber side skirts they fit as good as OEM. went on in 10 minutes.

if you get authentic kit or quality kit it will fit.
ive had the seibon front/rear lip fitment was good, didnt have to dremel anything, was a little tight but just took playing around with it for a little bit and finally got it.

but never had to use a demel or any type of cutting.

as far as what i used to put it on for the cwest sides nothing just used the stock screws to bolt it back on.
the front/rear lip double sided tape.
