Verified and confirmed, you can not order NISMO parts.

This is why no dealer has actually gotten one in their hands.

and how is this "verified and confirmed", because a magazine says so?

Alll due respect to Nissan Sport, great bunch of guys and a great magazine, but both Andy at Performance Nissan, and myself, have both ordered the parts already

What the big deal is over this, or the percevied controversey, is beyond me, but with a little leg work, the parts are available.

And you have them? You actually got them in your hands? No you haven't. Nissan is probably waiting for you to verify with them before they ship them.

Dave at Nissan Sport is NOT just another Magazine, they are Z owners and also are into these cars as much as you and I. They actually have DIRECT connections to Nissan Engineers unlike yourself.

First off, you don't know me, so please don't profess to know who I know and who I don't - I've been a Z owner all my life as well (starting well before the 350Z)

Second of all, yes I ordered, and received 2 front bumpers and one rear badge already took about a week to get each. Front bumper cost came to around $1200 each with all the trimmings, and the rear badge was a whopping $240.00 (amazing !)

I'm not interested in an argument or any kind, it's pointless

Got any pics?

Don't take this to mean every single part is available - I had no interest in checking, so I can't verify if every part is sold or not. But the 3 parts I needed were, and I had em within 7 days.

I didn't take pics no - it was just way too much stuff to be removing from their packaging (the front bumper has alot of components).

I know the performance dampers are also available at least in Japan - have not tried to order from the US yet

hey Adam, have you guys installed the Nismo Bumper yet? I'm wondering how low it is compared to the non-Nismo Z's stock side skirts? Does it look okay without aftermarket skirts?

whats wrong with that..seriously. why mod to fake like you want a faster car. Its all about modding tastefully. I seen authentic kits look 100% worse then replica kits because it was done without taste.

they should sue nissan. I would look into it.

also, the front bumper is the worst part on that car. the rear and sides are nice. when the V2 is available so cheap I do not know why anyone would want the Nismo... but whatever. less with V2 means better for me!

and I would also like to know if to order them, the dealers are fudging things or what wualifications they need to order. if it was stated that they need vin + verified... any dealer can give that info. but then it's not legit and that is what I need to understand.

is it 'carte blanche' for the parts or are they manipulating the system.

hmm, a NISMO Z owner thinks he got a limited edition, but now every tom, dick and harry can go out and make their car look like their limited one without actually buying one. had nothing to do with "replica" versus authentic, has to do with marketing a car as a "limited edition" and it being different, but now it is not.
