Default Normally how long does it take for a carbon fiber hood to fade out?

I got my seibon carbon fiber hood on june. And i find that my hood has a slightly white spot on the right hand side. It means my hood starts to fade out or what?

Normally, how long does it take for a cf hood to fade out?
My friend told me cf hood can be re clear something and make it new, is that true?

Any protection i can do for a cf hood? just waxing?

If you get it recleared it will make it look better/ last longer as long as you kept it waxed. Depending on how extensive the damage is.....

I don't have much experience with carbon fiber but I'm thinking pics would help for those that do have experience.

Usually if you just keep it clean it will last for awhile. Just make sure you don't use abrasive product or cloths etc. A pic of the white spot would help out.

I plan on adding a layer of clearcloat to avoid fading. Well, maybe not avoid as it will wear out eventually, but maybe it helps it last longer.
Has anyone done this?

a lot of people have. It looks a lot better. Weaving would look a lot more clear as well.
