ok as much as i have just searched my *** off.

its clear to me that the base doesnt have HIDs 03-05. but is it JUST the base that doesnt have them? or is there only specific models that had them.

i want to upgrade to the 06+ headlights anyways once i get it.
but it would be much easier to swap HID for HID rather than Halogen to HID.

i planned on getting a 05 basemodel. but i want the OEM hids. what would u reccommend i do?

 

Only the base 03-05 does not have them. All others do.

If you want HIDs without spending too much, try finding a used enthusiast.
