Thumbs up aftermarket leather

Just got aftermarket leather for my track Z and love it...much better than cloth. Hopefully the picture will give anybody who is on the fence an idea what two tone looks like. I had it done through my dealership who sub-contracted a company called Apache. ($892 - socal). I have more pics...anyone interested, feel free to email me.

Did you have the side airbags? I want to get my cloth track seat recovered, but don't know what to do with the bags. jf

Default leather seats

Did you have to take off the original cloth or did you cover it with leather? was there any stitching involved/ what was involved in installation?

How much, including all parts/labor?

Thanks.

The price was $892 total for parts and labor. The seats have the side airbags in them and I was assured by Nissan that their function would not be a problem with the leather (that was definitely a concern that I had). I do not know all the installation details. All I know is that I dropped the car off at my dealer and they removed the seats and took them to be recovered. It took them 3 days to complete. I do not know if the cloth is still under there but I assume that it is. They did a perfect job of covering everything up that you can't tell.

Also another positive benefit is the car doesn't shock me each time I get out of it :-)
