Default Seibon Dry Carbon Fiber Parts!!!

Seibon just let us in on the news that they will be producing dry carbon fiber hoods, hatches, fenders, and doors for the 350z. The hood and hatch are going to weigh in at 9 lbs each. Each fender is said to weigh in at 2 lbs per and I currently do not have the weight on the doors. Just wanted to give you guys a little inside scoop and pics will be up shortly as soon as I get them!!!

Damnit... This right after I went and bought a mastergrade hatch. I would definitely have rocked a dry cf hatch instead.

9 pounds for a dry hood is heavy.

9 pounds for the hatch is light.

depends on the descriptions of process they call 'dry'.

Are they going to make vented hoods that clear strut bars this time?

I'll get details on their production. I know exactly what your talking about. The hood should be more around 6lbs.

hopefully they fit More important than weight, IMHO is fitment

I'd do a hatch if it fit perfectly - but so far, I've not seen a signle hatch that fit like an OEM one did (to varying degrees). If they get it nailed, they will have a winner

9 lbs for a dry hood is heavy all things considered...hell, 6 lbs is too, if its a true dry carbon piece, not "sorta dry".
