The one I bought from eBay is an OEM FOB. Here's the link:

I'm sure it is the real deal.

that's the infiniti one. i doubt it will work. Did it comes with all of the insides and not just the casing?

I have a "G". The Nissan one and the Infiniti one are the exactly the same except for the logo. The FCC Numbers on the back are the same. If yours can work, than this one should be able to also. Yes mine came complete, even the key, which of course I cannot use.

Can you get us the part number and the instructions on how to program the Altima Keyfob to the Z? (That is if there is anything different in programming the Altima Keyfob as opposed to the regular fob.)

Thanks.

Bump on the altima guide to programing. My oem key fob is falling apart. The plastic is so brittle.

Yep, the old OEM remote is a POS. It looks like those that got the new OEM remote to work are either unwilling or unable to share with us. In most threads the IP or those that achieved success in their endeavors are anxious to share. I really don't know what the deal is here. Come on guys, if you got the new remote to program, tell us how.

I sent Tony at Riverside Infiniti a PM and just received this response:

Honestly I wouldn't know the first thing about the programming. I do not think our techs have even tried messing with it really. We don't have much of a demand for things like this.
I will ask the techs, but I doubt i'll have an answer on this one.

Why don't some of you folks try PMing him also, to see if maybe he'll become a little more interested?

Lou

Hmm, I don't understand why all of the people who claim to have it working won't respond again.

Yes, Your are RIGHT, It certainly has.

I also sent a PM to Andy at Performance last Thursday. He did not respond, and I know he has been on the forum because he has been posting. Apparently he could care less about helping us here. Oh well, I guess I know how I will spend my money, and it is not with Tony or Andy. And, I guess I give up on this key fob business.

Thats a nice writeup! thanks parklife. I might attempt this as soon as i get a hold of one of those.

One question, is it the same as the keyfobs on the new altimas?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-O...spagenameZWDVW

I just dont want to have an infiniti emblem since...i dont drive an infiniti.
