OP, take the deal...honestly, jim's doing better than some sellers i've dealt with when i had my EVO and Z3. at least he offers you a compromise.

Okay well i will buy the used lip that wont fit for 175 shipped to 92586..then maybe we can end this thread on a happy note..
i had a CF V1 lip before and i had to have two people to help put it on and it was a *****..ya it was about 1/2 inch short when i put it up against the bumper but you have to trim and pull your bumper off from the fenders at least to do so..if i was there i would help or you can just ship it out tomorrow and i will have a pretty sweet lip on my Z next week and i will send you pics of the install process...

OP, you can't expect a refund on a part that (from the pics you provided) will obviously fit. The only place I know of that will take a return on something in this situation is Wal-Mart.
Take Jim up on his offer, or consider yourself assed out. You seem so confident that the lip won't fit since you spent the last 4 months (I guess you can't count since October is only 2 months from December) trying to fit it on (even though you only tried twice according to you), so just put your money where your mouth is. Or, you can do the smart thing and take it to a shop that actually knows what they're doing to install it, or just sell it to someone that knows what they're doing. You say your shop is an authorized Seibon dealer, yet can't install a Seibon part? Makes perfect sense to me. What a lame excuse for a shop.

OP, you want great customer service, but you just ain't gonna get it this time. Take this as a loss. You are NOT going to get a refund. Accept it. However, you have to remember something, that defective lip, is actually fine!!! So take that lip that you always wanted out of the packaged up box and put that SOB on and enjoy!!! Take it to a different shop or ask some forum members for help, that's what they're here for.

You can afford to own and run 3 cars, but you can't afford to buy a part from the local bodyshop which is an authorised seibon dealer, and be happy with the result, and then just sell the "faulty one" on this forum? Allrighty then!!
You've bitched and moaned about the part not fitting, and you've had a pretty good offer from the seller, which you are now refusing, because you don't want the part now? Sounds like you threw your toys out the pram!
And finally, if you don't want to deal with the vendor anymore, then fine. There have been three or four people that say they will take it off your hands, (buy it off you, in case you don't understand) and fit it on their own car, thus proving it fits. Which means you will get your money back, and someone gets to prove you wrong.
Everyone on this forum that has fitted this part is telling you that it will fit, you just need to take it to a competent body shop. Just because the guys your dealing with are a seibon dealer doesn't mean there any good. When you go to nissan for a paint job, it usually looks like crap, but there supposed to be trained professionals, right?
In summary, take a pick, because you ain't gonna get a refund.

you're an idiot. the lip will fit. it's in perfect condition. dont be mad at jim because you're too lazy or cheap to get the lip installed properly. and stop posting stupid posts about him scamming people when his itrader clearly states that more than 90% of his clientel is more than satisfied with his customer service and products. Maybe you should LISTEN to the vendor and get it installed like he told you to, and you wouldn't have this issue.
