I've seen Mexicans driving cars like that but the colors were more like, light rust, dark rust, faded blue, gray primer, brown primer, bare metal colors mixes.

the harlequin VW was created to show the golf in all of the colors....then some people who recently graduated from Helen Keller's school for the blind got ripped off and bought them....then to defend their purchaase they claimed that they were cool...they then resold them to people for cheap....and the car cought on...
