Default Starting car without passenger seat present

Will this pose any problems? I did it in my Civic a few years back and had to take it to the dealer to reset the computer (leaving the battery unplugged for a few mins didnt work).

I have my interior gutted right not to install audio/video stuff but don't want to stay up all night putting it back together before work tomorrow.

If something needs to be reset does it need to be done by Nissan or can I and/or a mechanic shop do it?
