Default Led lighting problem.

Hey, I just finished installing a led strips in the footwell of the driver and passenger side. Following the instructions found in the diy, I found the right wires in the A pillar and tested everything to make sure it works.

It was working fine as i hooked up the first led under the drivers side (light came on perfectly). But after i extended the power from the drivers side to the passenger side and hooked the second one up, nothing works anymore!!!

None of the led's turn on, the dome light doesn't turn on, even the push in lights next to the dome don't come on. Everything else with the car works so I have to assume that i blew a fuse somewhere....I don't know how since the wires coming from the led lights themselves are like 24 guage, which i assume means it drains very little power.

If anyone could help me I'd appreciate it thanks.

Did you disconnect the battery while you were installing? If you didn't, it's quite probable that you popped the fuse. Replace it and see what happens.

sounds like you blew a fused.. the gauge of wire you were working with is plenty big enough to blow a fuse.

You're fuse box is located next to the clutch on the left side against the inside footwell wall. It has a fuse puller inside it, just read the inside of the panel and it tells you which fuses are to what. And I believe its a 15, you can buy it at any auto store
