Question ground clearance?

hey waddup ppoL.. im new to this forum (as you can see) and im planning to get a 350z myself. i was just wondering if anyone knew the stock ground clearance of the front bumper because it is not indicated on the nissan site. i just need to know because i have a crappy driveway and its slanted upward when entering it initally, and im afraid it might scrape because my lancer just barely makes it up there. so if any of you have any info, i'd really appreciate it.. thanks.

If you have trouble with a lancer already then I fear you may with the Z. But I would not let that stop me from getting a car. I would create some sort of wooden ramp if my driveway needed it.

Ok i just measured it, about ~6.25" from the ground to the black lip spoiler of the aero package. About ~7.5" from the bottom of the front spoiler. I have the performance package with the 18" wheels.

he got it there, if theres a problem, pull out the concrete, or something, build a bump.

the key is tho, the Zs front wheels are pushed way foward, angle of attack is based on overhang more than straight clearance.

tell the dealer you will buy if he or you can drive the car to your house and test it out on your driveway.

find a dealer near you, and I mean, it might be worth while to him, perhaps he has a tester.

otherwise, I see your in new jersey, I know there are others in your area. hit up the north east forum, and see about getting a meet together near your house, or even throw a bbq at your place. Im sure if you offer some beer or dogs, theyd be glad to test out your driveway for you.

very true.. i should try that someday. but i have to say, this is only my second day on the forum and people here have been extremely informative and helpful.. and the moderators, unlike the moderators on evolutiom.net who dont do much but move misplaced threads, are actually involved.. hehe. but back on the topic.. if it so happes that the 350z cant get up on the driveway, i'll just have to settle parking it on the street. its alot better than scratchin up my front bumper every damn time i come home

for what its worth, on all models there is atleast a small black "lip". same as the aeropackage lip, but a little smaller. it takes the scrapes and isnt visible. saves your bumper, if you come up it slowly it shouldnt hurt anything.

man my front aero spoiler gets scraped like once a week. I would gladly test your driveway for you. As long as you aren't too far from me.
