ok i have a 2004 base 350z and my headlight burned out. i replaced them wit hthe same size h7 bulbs from sylvania and they arent bright at all. and my nissan dealership says these are fine and shoul;d work

It may just be a defective bulb. Did you try going back to the store and exchanging it for a new one? If it still doesn't work, you may want to get a bulb from Nissan (Call again if the person you spoke with last time didn't understand).
I know with most headlights u cant touch them with your skin when installing them... the bulb that is.. did you touch it or use a cloth?? if you touched it you need to wipe all your finger prints off of it and re-install it. The oils from your skin can damage the bulb badly. oh... dont goto auto zone
