I think the thing that makes carbon hoods so unappealing to me is the fact that there are so many things you have to watch out for that I'm really picky about. I've gotta watch for the weave being nice a laid correctly, whether or not it's gonna fit properly, if it's going to leave any gaps and so and so forth. Carbon hoods just aren't for me not worth it to me IMO. However other carbon parts are a different story
