I thought it was pretty flipping sweet. Havent seen that before and also would put an end to door dings. Prolly cost a **** load though.

There was one of those cars for sale on eBay a couple of months ago. I think it sold for 10k.

I'll bet that's a $7-8K mod or more though.

It actually makes sense on the Mark VII. I'd almost like to do that for that car. 2 door car with 4 door ease. They have room in the back seats too !!!

If it was $3-4K you might have something there.

stupidest thing i have ever seen. i can see where this could be practical in europe since the streets are so small and opening a door is very risky in the city but doing this for bling factor is just as dumb as doing lambo-style doors

that tight. .bmw way back had a car where the doors slide down as well. .was a small 2 door cabrio.. prob the 1st z3. .but dont kno the name of it. .

Interesting doors. Still trying to figure out where they fold it into if it keeps the clearances under the car the same. still favorite doors of all time have to be on the Konisegg CCXR, the switchblade doors. just do a search for it on youtube.
