Default Stillen front splitter on stock bumper (pics)

Mocked up my stillen front splitter the other day on my grill-deleted stock bumper. I know there was a thread on this splitter a long while back but I couldn't find it. Just thought I'd share some teaser pics of my setup since this isn't a very common one. Keep in mind this is a track car in the making, so yes, I know its nothing special or flashy. I will be leaving the splitter unpainted so I dont have to worry about it chipping when I catch cones or what not

Dude, not going to be much a track car without a motor in it.

We just installed one on a buddy's car. It definately looks good. Also covers up curb marks on the lower portion of the bumper pretty well.

Yes, the fit is excellent. I would say as close to perfect as you could get, really.

istan, my motor is at the builders right now. He is on this forum, but that is for another thread, another day

Looks good. If you don't need the aluminum struts for support, I'd lose them.

You could run this splitter without them if you were so inclined. I had it setup that way, and looked at it for a while, but decided I wanted the turnbuckles so I can adjust the angle of the splitter up/down. They also tighten up the fit a bit. No going back now because you have to drill holes to install them.

How much did you pay for that? Is it meant for the OEM bumper only, or is it universal for stillen fronts as well.

A couple of vq35de's would pull a premium before race wars

I got it from a vendor on here, I think for $225ish? Something like that. It was a while ago, I dont remember exactly.

It is made for the 03-05 stock bumper only. Stillen also makes a splitter model that fits their aftermarket Z bumpers. But no universal ones that I know of.

Thanks for the comments. Once my car is back together I will post up some more shots.

Lol, so thats where my engine went...

Shot of the disaster that is my garage during this rebuild... lots of parts waiting

Interior of car, which is pretty much done. I have a matching pass side seat, but it is out right now for ease of access to utec and fuel tank

Very dirty AP racing brakes... This car gets raced

Sure, I will get one up for you tomorrow.

Stan, that blue thing? Yeah, I think I got it at a show as a door prize or something. I've never had it out of the plastic.
