I am also wanting to see under the hood pictures of the Stud Assembly and the latch-hood it itself, as I'm wanting to do mine now. If anybody can put some pics in or even pm me the pic's as I need to see to get an idea on where to cut on the hood underneath. Already have my oem hood off and the CF TS Hood on, only wanting to see how anybody has done theirs.
Thanks also in advance.

here's mine. underhood is a little dirty. I kinda messed up on the alignment when I drilled the hole on the hood that's why I have to make a bracket for the stud. My suggestion is take your car and hood to a reputable shop that can do it.

Excellent pictures of the studs mount. Could you "Please" post some pictures of the hood (underneath)? Want to see where you cut and how it looks. I do have a shop that will do it, but they are also wondering of the under hood. That would be perfect for a finishing touch. Thanks again too.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I've already sent the pictures to the body shop that will do the installing. I don't think I will try that, as my hands would probably give an extra air hole or two or three.....before I finished. Hopefully this will satisfy them. Thanks again.
Agentman, that should help you out also.

Also noticed that the bottom side of the hoods on these aerocatch mods seem to cutout and remove a " large section " of the underside support bracing of the hood , instead of cutting it out the same as the top side cutout area .. Asuming this large cutout area must have interfered with the pin lineup or something ??

Mine done yesterday. Also that will not do much damage at all as to the cutouts, as it's still sealed all around, just a center piece. Talked with the company that sells them, and most all hoods are done the same way, unless you can order the hood with some special mold, which he had pictures of a different CF Hood for a another car where it was made for it. Don't know where he got the hood from, but must have special ordered it that way they figured. He stated it was special ordered though, and I have the pictures on my email, just don't know how to put them on here. I took them to the shop, and mine was done same day. Now I'm having some fiberglass covers made to cover the cut to make it look natural. Thanks again for your pictures, they helped to make it clear about the cut needed.

Rubber Shock Spacer ? This Picture is not a real good sample for the 350z but gives you the idea .. Not a lot of space between the hood and brace on the z but can always cut to size ??

the rubber pieces r a "hood bump" ..its easier to adjust the height of your hood with a rubber spacer since not all hoods sit at the same height...since they figure its goin on a aftermarket hood/aftermarket body kits might affect adjustment.......
