Does anyone out there have any better instructions to installing the StrictlyZ.com LED Clear Sidemarkers?

From a consumer's standpoint, I got a chance to see the StricltlyZ sidemarkers up-close and in person, I have to say I was quite upset. They basically take a set of stock (or clear, or smoked) sidemarkers and drill 3 holes for 3 narrow viewing angle LEDs. They wire up the 3 LEDs, glue a metal plate on the back and wallah.

Maybe I am a stickler about things, but I dont like having sidemarkers drilled and then seeing loose plastic material inside the sidemarker. I also dont like to pay over a hundred dollars for 3 LEDs that are not wide-angle NOR are they high-intensity.

have they changed the design? I saw them and they were drilled straight through so the LEDs would sit farther in. but they wouldnt be sealed any longer.

I heard they changed their design, but I dont know for sure.

they do use 3000MCD LEDs, which I think would be considered high intensity, but youd know more about that than me. they dont say what viewing angle they have tho. atleast not that Ive seen.

You make the decision, no lighting tricks here. Plus, these images were taken in the DAY TIME. The pictures speak for themselves, click away:

indeed those dont look 3000mcd to me, but Ive never seen them lit in person.

your camera is certainly better than mine, I was unable to photograph my white reflector. I got this

obviously it doesnt look like that. haha; second set of headlights anyone? that was done with 3000mcd LEDs tho. bit brighter, but it isnt shaded by the amber lens.

how did you photograph that thing? is daylight the key? or perhaps the camera just sucked. Im voting for the second one.

DUDE! Post a warning before you post something like that! I was almost blinded. I can see a white dot in the middle of everything I look at now.

A) Why didn't you compare in your picture a clear 3 dot to a clear multi-dot?

B) I rather have the 3 dot one anyway, since I think it matches some the three dot theme on the car....

Of course, I wouldn't put that front chin on my car either... so for each his own.

Our LED light is full set. Not made from OEM relector light. The front lip is getting paint now. The 3 Dot LED will not be bright enough. If you ever seen the Z concept car, this is exactly how it looks like.
