blue cluster
i would prefer to give acree my buisness, the guys work is amazing.. im still looking into it but have the feeling it will be out of my price range not to mention i would have to rent a car, the z is my dd.. i had to quit my good full time job for a not so great part time job so i could go back to school.. less money and half the hours? im broke.. any ways i want to do a blue light theme through out the inside of my car, i have the underglow installed(down... by where you put your feet) and its looking awsome so far.. anyways the cluster, gauges etc. are next for me.. i dont trust this, but figured i would get some opinions.. the price does not seem right, and it seems like **** quality.. any thoughts/experiances?
click me eh
i highly recomend any one who is interested in this kinda **** check out acree's work, i have recomended a few others to check out his stuff at the races and car show..when comparing what im looking at compared to his work.. there is no comparison.. here is his link

I think you know what you should do man. Do it right the first time and be done with it. The best things in life are worth waiting for and I think you'd be pretty upset you didn't go with Acree.
i tell you what, ive seen acree's work in person and its outstanding. you will not be disappointed. the ebay stuff... well, personally i wouldnt waste my money it. do it right the first time and save your self time and money.
Don't waste your time and money on eBay stuff.
If you want it done right, PM Acree.
If he's not doing the conversions anymore, I'm sure he could hook you up with the correct led's. All it takes then is some moderate soldering skills.
Also, you need a new gauge face. The stock orange gauge face will not work too well with blue leds. It'll turn out a purplish color.

Did my old Celica's gauge cluster. Stock was orange. I also had to purchase a blue-lettered gauge faceplate for the Celica.

^^ Thanks man.
IIRC, the Z's gauge work will be close to what I had to do on the Celi's.
You'd be looking at...
1) LED soldering in gauge cluster and three-gauge center pod.
2) Clearing of the gauge needles with alcohol
3) painting of back of the gauge needles
4) Replacing gauge face with different colored numbers, etc.
5) Replacing gauge needles and calibrating them.
If you're mechanically inclined, it'll be an awesome project for you.
