Solutions for front lip problem.
Well I got the Evo-R VS V1 lip, fitment is quite nice, but it's not "perfect". First I don't want to hear buy the real deal, or anything along the lines I'm quite satisfied just nitpicking on the small thing that is bothering me. From the front of the lip, the middle area where it curves around the front grill laying on top of the middle section, well it's not a perfect curve around the front grill, a little short on one side.
Here's a picture of the area I'm talking about.

I tried to lay black tape under it but that did not work out too well, I didn't want that middle part painted in case i take the lip off or something. I need something that I can stick on there to just hide it basically. Black tape doesn't stick too well obviously. Any other solutions you guys can come up with? Picture is not a best, if needed I can get a new picture showing the exact location/problem.
UPDATED PICTURE OF THE PROBLEM.

Someone give me some bright ideas.

what did you expect from a replica? without a closer picture i can not tell exactly what you are talking about. obviously it must be something you can only see if you are right immediately in front of the car. otherwise it looks fine.

I have never noticed it on your picture. I'm sure I can figure a way to put something in the area to just cover it up/make it less visible. It sucks that you know it's there it's much more noticeable. And being that it's black and the part that stick out is white is very noticeable to me at least.
This fitment caused me to break the MF'er when I tired to attach my bumper cover..
Looks like it was'nt just me with the issue...

I would have test fitted it first. Since you have painted it already not much you can do. Jay is great and I have bought several items from him and if it was off he would have replaced it. He may even still painted or not it doesn't fit. I could not live with that. I would stare at it every time I walk up on the car. If it were a civic I would say **** it. PM Jay at least maybe a discount refund??
