I just took off my 350z emblem on the rear, and when I got the leftover adhesive off I noticed the "350z" is ghosted into the paint, I assume from no exposure to sunlight. I hadn't seen this in pics before so it never dawned on me. My car is Chrome Silver, and the ghost image is slightly darker than the paint. Anyone experienced this before, or have any ideas to get rid of it?
I have PPW and i have same symptom. But it doesnt show that much on my car because maybe its PPW. I dont know what you can do..

Yeah I have a feeling my color is just very vulnerable to this, the slightly darker silver is really noticeable I have a feeling there is nothing I can do b/c the paint itself is affected, I may have to buy another set and put it back on.
go to the paint store and ask for some rubbing compound and use a terry towel to buff it off, or if that doesn't work, get the rubbing compound, the cutting foam pad and wet sand and buff the area.
